How does one become a SASMO Member
Application for membership has to be submitted to, and is subject to approval by the SASMO Executive Committee. An application form can be found here and faxed to the following number:

What are the requirements for becoming a SASMO Member
To become a member of SASMO you have to be a qualified physician registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA), with a special interest and expertise in the care and treatment of patients with cancer.

The benefits of being a SASMO Member:
Members are allowed to vote in the election of executive committee members.
Members are allowed free full access to the SASMO website.
Discounted registration fees at SASMO / SASCRO conferences.
Regular feedback about oncology activities and news in the private and public sector

Membership Fees

Membership fees are payable on registration and every four years thereafter. At present the amount is R400.00.
